The latter experienced a heavy gale off the New Zealand coast, and jettisoned 5000 feet of her deck cargo. AUCKLAND, Friday. The Ford Shipping Line, Limited, has purchased Mr 6. T. Nicol's fleet of scows. The Ford line now comprise 12 timber carrying scows. The same line has contracted with the Kauri Timber Company for the carrying of all their timber from the coast ports of Auckland for a number of years, also towage of logs.
