TRIBUTES INjPARLIAMJiNT. (From Our Special Correspondent). WELLING i vN, Thursday. Graceful tributes were paid to "the memory of the late Hon. A. Pitt iv both Houses this afternoon. Sir Joseph Ward and Dr Findlay each spoke in feeling terms of their late colleague, the Premier referring to the late Attorney-General as "an experienced administrator and . a wise counsellor," and one whose work was always faithfully performed. Mr Massey, in adding his tribute, said that he looked upon the late Mr Pitt as one of the best' type of our . colonists. He recalled the fast .word 3 uttered by Mr Pitt at the close of last session, viz., " Ihope that we shall all meet again next session, and that that session will be as pleasant as this one has been." "Parliament," added Mr Massey, "has met again, but Mr Pitt is not here.'
