PALMERSTON N., Tuesday. | At the annual meeting of the National Dairy Association held to-day, it was shown that the turnover for the 1 year had been of tho value of £56,000, | with £216 85 4d profit. In his address, J the Chairman said tho Executive held the opinion that the action of the recently formed Dairy Employees Industrial Union would result in injury to the factory industry. A resolution was passed urging upon the Government the advisability of again putting Mr Kirk's collection, known as the Government Agricultural Museum, again on exhibit. It was | also resolved to ask the Government to appoint a- dairy expert to examine and report upon the state of butter and cheese on the arrival in England. Alfo a resolution asking the Government to appoint inspectors" of the milk supplies to factories was passed.
