CURIOUS TORPEDO PRACTICE.
A COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF GETS A SCAEE. " WAS IT AN ACCIDENT' (Received June 18, 1 39 p.m.) ST. PETEKSBTJBG, Monday. While a Russian boat was discharging torpedoes at Sevastopol, one struck a cutter in which the Command-er-in-chief was cruising, and he narrowly escaped drowning. The officers in the torpedo boat were arrested and charged with attempted murder.
