TIMABU, Tuesday. At a meeting To-day, the South Canterbury Board of Education passed a resolution protesting against the action of the Department in deciding to make no travelling allowance for those children who travel to school from a distance by horse or bicycle. The chairman said he hoped that every Board in tho colony would pass a similar resolution.
