SHIPWRECK RELIEF SOCIETY.
DUNEDIN, Tuesday. An appeal was made by the Shipwreck Relief Society to the Harbour Boards for pecuniary assistance, and received replies from the Napier, Gisborne, Greymouth, Timani, Invercargill, and the Bluff Boards. The Auckland lioard could not see its way to comply with the request. An appeal is now to "be made to the municipalities on or near the coaat of JS'ew Zealand.
