SOUTHLAND S LAUGHTERMEN.
A UNION FORMED. ANOTHER TROUBLE BREWING. [United Pkess Association.] INVERCARGILL, Monday. A meeting of Southland slaughtermen was held on Saturday night and decided to register as a union. One of the men complained that he had been compelled to work with an incomnetent man and to accept an equal division of their earnings. He said he brought the matter before the Southland Frozen was told that if ho was not satisfied he could leave, which he did. A resolution was passed drawing the attention of the managing director of the company to the alleged unfairness of the action and stating that a continuance of the practice might have serious results.
