THE ARBITRATION ACT DEFENDED. [United Pbess Association.—Copz(Received April 13, 9.12 am.) LONDON, Friday. Mr Beeves, High Commissioner for New Zealand, in a letter to the "Times," explains the recent strikes in New Zealand, and says it is ridiculous suggestion to say that the Arbitration Act had broken down, and that the Arbitration Court was powerless.
