A COACH ACCIDENT.

CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday. An accident happened to the Kaikoura and Waiau coach yesterday. Just after leaving the Conway cutting one of the horses became restive and got across the pole. Tbe team became unmanageable, and the bolt came out, and the horses got away with the forecarriage. The driver, Saxton, waa injured in the calf of the leg, as the ironwork of the break inflicted a nasty I wound, and he is in a very low con- 1 dition through loss of blood. Two of the passengers were thrown out of the coach, but escaped injury. Th coach was seriously damaged, and arrived at Waiau three and a half hours late. ■ - -
