A PHENOMENAL THUNDER-
STORM

MASTERTON, Monday. A phenomenal thunderstorm occurred yesterday evening. Over two inches of rain fell, and for a quarter of an hour the streets were flooded. Some damage was done, but the rain will have a beneficial effect on the pasture and rape crops.
