The L-ourt contains *ev*ral bales of hops, with the contents in geniously shown. The flour industry is accounted for by several bags from the* local mills, ana a pile of bottled goods testifies to the possibilities of the province in respect to fruit growing and ovnw kindred departments of industry. Amongst the provincial courts in the Exhibition, 'Uiati of Hawke s Fay is one of the largest ana most tasteful. There is a very fine nurseryman's exhibit. The pot exhibits comprise -na-tivc plants of all. descriptions, aivw*«i into three sections, and covertag a lar^o a ' There are a couple of show cases of Maori applied art in the shape >ol native mats and feathers and fia">. The wine and fruit sections contain the choicest products of Frrmley, Meanee, Green Meadows, and re Mata. Progressive photographs show the different stages m the process of. treating the grapes from th- vine to the cellar. There are also exhibits of hops and tie * ?r '' different woods, Maori figures and carvings, grain, samples of butter, boxes of tallow, canned meats, wool, and other similar toranchea of industry in the province.
