j (United Press Association}. CHRISTCHURCH, March 11. The match for the Savile Cup was 1 continued at the New Zealand Polo As sociation's carnival to-day. Rangitikei (G. H. Wilson 1, K. Dalrymple 2, R. Wilson 3, N. Wilson 4) easily defeated Hawke's Bay (J. D. Ormond 1, F. McKenzie 2 H. Russell 3, W. McKenzie 4) .by nine goals to three. The game was most exciting and evenly contested till the third spell, when the score stood Rangitikei 2 goals, Hawke's Bay one goal, and Rangitikei increased their opponents' total by accidentally carrying the ball through their own goal. After this Rangitikei exerted themselves to greater advantage, and in the fourth and fifth spells their sepremacy was most marked. ■ The last spell began with Rangitikei attacking and running over their opponents, and though W. McKenzie, Ormond and Russell played well for the other side Rangitikei had all the best of the struggle. The scorers were G .H. Wilson (3), R. Wilson (2), Dalrymple (4) for Rangitikei, and for Hawke's Bay Ormond and W. McKenzie,- ';.. Wellington A (C. P. Skerrett 1, H. F. .Johnston 2, R. L. Levien 3, D. G. A. Cooper 4 )beat Wellington B (P. B. Watts 1, A. McClark 2, F. Grace 3, P. Nathan 4) by nine goals to three. The scorers were for A Team : Cooper (4), Skerrett 2, Levien 2, Jhnston; for B Team: Grace, Nathan and Watts. This Day. .The following handicaps have been declared for the Polo Association Handicap" Cup Competition : — Rangitikei 1, Hawke's Bay 4, Wanganui 8, Wellington A 9, Christchurch A 12, Wellington B 17, Christchurch B 18.
