1 his match wes played at Brightwater yesterday, the country club winning by 123 runs. The totals were :—BriehtwaforGs (Lines 20), (Doidge 11), and 232 (T, Nawth 90), (G. SilcSck SI not out), (Doidge 16), (Lines 13), (W. Fowler 12), {(i, Silcock, junr., ill). United 81, Johnston 23), (Kmzott 19), (Hurley 10) , and 63 (Johnston 29), (Kinzett 23). Cheers were exchanged at the conclusion of the game, the United players also showing their appreciation of T, Newth's batting by giving him a special cheer,
JUNIOR CUP. The Junior Championship fixture Phffimx v. Stoke was played at Richmond on Saturday afternoon, and resulted in a win for the former by Tm innings and 104 rung •
