AN IMPREST SUPPLY BILL.
To the general surprise an Imprest Supply was announced for this evening. The reason is that the Premier is going south to-mor-row to lay a foundation stone. Most of^us bad expected the estimates, but as there are only police nod agriculture left with some remnants of miscellaneous postal service items there is no ivr finer interest in the estimates and no one believes they rejqjuire any •'•'ridinigs." Later. The plan was varied af tvsr -niy ia'*t messaige and d portion of the estimates was put through. Then came the Imprest and the usual deluge. The Bill, however, got early to second reading stages.
