All start'ed but Canteen. Fashoda and Mo^ niopoto were in front nearly the : whole way. The former led tho New ; Healander by a couple of lengths I until nearing the home turn, when tho latter got on '.ems and drawing away without effort won l>y six lengths in the fast time of 2min 32fs.
