At the University Senate the motions by Professor J. M. Brown on) research work were referred to the Recess Committee. A motion by Mr Hogben, that as a general rule, classical land modern languages be placed on an equality in examinations of the University, waa referred to a Committee. A motion by Mr Hogban on subjects for iho B.Sc. course was also referred to the Recess Committee.
