THE CUBAN-AMERICAN TREATY.
(Received March 14, 9.57 a.m.) NEW YORK, Yesterday. The American Senate's amendment in the Cuban treaty in its manner of requiring the House of Representatives' approval is regarded as practically dafeating the treaty. President Roosevelt is considering the resubmission of the treaty to an extra session of Congress.
