Owing to the expiration of the Bridga- ■ water Trust, the tfari of EUesmere has inherited the vast canal properties of bia ancestor, the Duke of Bridgetvater. [Ibe Bridgo water Peerage is ex tinofc. Lard Ellosmere is the third Earl (creation 1846.) His name is Francis Chai lea Gran ville Egerlou, and he was born in 1847.]
