caused through nob having sufficient judging done on tbe first day. At tfie request of the Chai. man, who had to leave, Mr May took tbe chair. Several members expressed the opioion that not sufficient judging was done on the fin t day of the Sbow -also that the programme had not been strictly adhered to A member also complained that tbe attendance at the Schedule Committee's meetings had not been quite np to tho mark, and the resulb was that the Committee did not seem to have given entire satisfaction. Mr Philip Best suggested that the Association shonld provide more substantial yards for cattle. Mr Moßae considered that one horse should not be allowed to enter in several cIftBSGBMr VVratt thought tbat the Show would be male more attractive if brood mares and hackneys were judged onthe first day and the ponies also judged and jumped on the first day. Bout and Sons in reference ro the Bara and Ewo Fair, to be held next February. , It was decidsd that a Committee consisting of Messrs Hunt, Paton, and Cook, J make the necessary arrangements for the Fair on behalf of the Association. Messrs Harris an<L.Stonc were elected members of the Aesociati-m. Mr Chisnall complained that his recommendation to raise the height of tbe hurdles for crossbred sheep had not been . attended to. -It was stated that tbe recommendations woald receive attentioi.. May stated that a deputation had wniteof on the Premier in reference to Clearing "2 the mortgage on Bichmond | Park, and the Premier had promised to reconflneiid the Cabinet to give £ftoo if the Attbriation would secure the balance Of *£10pOi Mr May wanted the meeting to give & expr. ss ion of opinion as to how the £$300 could b 3 obtained.
