i A LAKGE bAb'QUE. GISBORNE, This Day. . j The steamer Beatiiuo lbft port, this morning to communicate with the vessel ( sighted otlTureb.au. She is described as ' a large barque wit b. only her loreaiabt standing. Her position is aboul 12 miks off the uhore near tbe Ariel reef. A light north-ea&fcerly wind is blowing. The vessel appears to have difficulty in steering. It is thought that she may be the overdue Timaru.
