18 FIRES ADMITTED. AUCKLAND, This Day. Two boyp, named James Henry Sergeant, aged 15, and Arthur Ruddle, aged 15, have been 'arrested] on a charee of breaking i' to and eniering a building with intent to commit arson. The accused admitted having caused ighteen small firea in the city during t ° past month. Later. The accused .vere remanded till Friday, bail being refused. They staled thatthey set fire to the place as they wished to see the excitement caused by the Brigade's arrival.
