WANGANUI, April IL As showing the existence bf child slavery in the dairy industry, one of the Wanganui Education Board's Inspectors, who recently inspected a school in the district, found, on questioning a number of children nvho came late, that one of them, a girl of life years, milked six cows morning and eveoing and walked four miles to school ; a boy of. the same age milked 13 cows morning and evening and rode three miles to school ; whilst another child of eight milked 10 cows morning and eveningand rode three miles to school.
