ANNUAL KACE MEETING. The Nelson Jockey Club-; annual race meeting will be heJd at Richmond Park to-morrow and on Thursday. The Mayor is inviting the citizens to observe tomorrow as a public holiday, and the same day has alao been declared a special bank holiday. The occeptances received for to-raofrow ? 8 eyants are very fair in number and quality, and some good sport should result. Special railway timetables at reduced fares have been arrane ed for both days, and should the weather prove fine large attendances may be -looked for. Messrs Edmundson and Roberts notify that a palace ear wll leave the Masonic Hotel corner each day at 11 a.m. for the races, the return farelbeing two shillings.
