LONDON, August 13. Great Britain has notified that she ob. jects to any Power securing superioi influence by helping China to pay the indemnity before 1940, not 1910. The Chioese Court complains of the mismanagement of the negoti tions tvith the Allies, and the retention of too manyforeign soldiers at Pekin during the present year.
