SHOOTING DOGS.
Tothe Editor of "The Evening Mail." Sir, — As Mr " Bell Benton " in his letter would infer that I am wanting in the most ordinary intelligence and am careless into the bargain, I feel compelled to reply. Firstly, dogs owned by me are never permitted to be at large. Those destroyed were free by an unfortunate accident for which no one can be blamed.
