A meeting of ihe chairmen of city and Buburban chool Committees last mght unanimonaly condemned the present system of election of members of the Educa- . tdon Board, there being no secrecy about the method. It was decided to request the Minister of Education to have an alteration made in the Act during the present-sasaion of Parliament to enable ttie vote 'to be carried out by ballot .
