The Eiwaka team drew wifch the Eivals in the Junior Cup. The Bay team are to be commended for turning out bo well under the difficulties they naturally encounter in travelling, and the form they displayed waa a decided improvement on that hitherto shown. They have a heavy sot of forwards, and some fast backs, and £iir oßame de & ee of training as the town team en™ they would certainly stand a good chance to pull off the Cup. The game was a fairly even one, and end. Ed in each side scoring 3 points-the Eivals a try and the Eiwaka a goal from a penalty kick. Bannehr scored for the Rivals, and Eead kicked a penalty goal for the Bay team. Mr Deane refereed. Eiwaka, 3 points : Eival, 3 points.
