NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at . a Special Meeting of the Com cil of the City of Nelaoia, > eld on me 7th day of June, 1901, the following resolution was adopted .* — "That the following Water Rates in respect of the ordinary supply be made and levied for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1901, and ending on the 31st March, 1902, payable in ,two equal instalments, on the 6th July, 1901, jandthe Ist day of October, 1901. 1,-Upon all lands and bnildings to which water is buy plied, whose rateable value on the Valuation Roll does not exceed .£l s, a rate of 10 Shillings per annum. Exoeeds .£ls, a rate of 3J per cent, on such value. 2. Upon a'l lands and buildings to which water can be but is not supplied, Biluate within 100 yards from any part of the Waterworks : One half of tte rales aUve mentioned. 3. Dpon all buildings used as Stores or Warehouses, or for any purpoßes other than as dwellinghouses : a rate of 2 per c nb upon the rateable value. And notice is hereby further givon that, at a meeting ©f the Raid Council, to be held on the sth day of July, 1901, the Confirmation of the said Resolution will be proposed.
