(United Press Association). VISITS TO THE COUNTRY. WELLINGTON, This Day. Half of the Imperial troops, who visited Masterton yesterday were accompanied by the Premier. Tho troops recei ved an. enthusiastic welcome, and were entertained by lhe oifciEens. A large number of visitors from surrounding districts were present, and the crowd which tvitnessedthe arrival was the largest ever seen at Masterton. A large number of Maoris danced hakas, and the troops gave an exhibition of physical drill. The men returned to Wellington in the evening, [The other half of the troops had a great- welcome at Wanganui and Palmerston North.]
