Tbe invest:gatons o! the Provisosal Cotrmitite give every reason to believe tbat i 'is treatment of 30,000 sheep and lambs per annum would enable the works to be carried on successfully, and a canviuk of the district shows that the mininntn number of sheep mentioned js (jkefy to be largely exceeded as Koon as the Company commences operations. While recognising that, by the establishment of a Freezing Company the prospetityofthe town will be indirectly advanced, the Promoters point out that the (Jorpany is being formed to especially farther the interests of the farming community, and farmers are tarnestly urged to support the Compapy by subscribing freely for shares and by providing £.he rebnired number of sheep. Upon a minimum of 15,000 shares being applied for, and upon not less than 30,000 sboep and lambs being guaranteed, id proposed to register the Company, when permanent Directors and Officers will be elected by the shareholders. The actual freezing operations are expected to be commenced about December, 1900, the intervening time being required for provjdinga Hoik, and for the establishment of Works.
