VOLUNTEERS FOR THE ARMY.
WASHINGTON, August 1. The residents of Pnerto Rico have welcomed the arrival of the American expedition, and 2000 of them volunteered to serve in the American army. General Miles is inarching on San Juan, and meeting with scarcely any opposition.
