The superiority of the visitors basics gave them, however, a great advantage. Eleven tries in all were obtained, and of these Terei gained six. Two of his trie* were converted, one by him«elf and one by Waiti. Kohere scored thiee times, and Buck and W. Pohio each got over the line once, none of these scores being enhanced by the attempt at goal. The Te Aute team were photographed before the match. On Wednesday evening the Te Aute boys gave an entertainment in the Motueka Institute. There was a good attendance, and the entertainment was greatly appreciated.
