[United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Apiil 24, A letter has been received by the Harbour Board from the Government Entomologist, Captain Broun, having roferenoe to the question of importation of scale-infeoted fruit from Tahiti, Rarotonga and other islands. He suggested that the Harbour Board, assisted, if necessary, by the shipPing companies and importers, should allow one of their most reliable men to help tho Entomologist in his inspection of the frnit as soon as it is landed. The Board ogreed to appoint a man, the cost to bo divided between tbo importers and shipping companies.
