Court to-day, the licensee of Te Aro Hotel was charged with aUowing liquor to be consumed on his premises after' hours. It was admitted that no : money changed hands. The case narrowed ■ itself "down tp a question as to whether a publican may entertain his friends as guests after hours by giving them refreshments. Mr Kenny said he would deliver a written judgment later on.
