MASONIC INSTALLATION.
SOUTHERN STAR LODGE, 735, B.C. The installation of W.M. and investiture of ollicers in connection with the Southern Star Lodge were attended last evening by a large number of Masons, including several members of the Viotory Lodge, N.Z.C., and other visiting brethren. Bro. \V. N. Poole was installed as W.M. by P.M. J?ro. S. Bolton, who was assisted in tho investiture of officers by P M.'s Bros. Moller, J. Graham, Allan, Brown, and Baigenb. The following officers were invested .-—I P.M. Bro. John Grohsin ; Bro. S. Kirkpatriek J.W. ; Bro. S. Bolton, P.M., Treasurer; Bro. J. McEachon, P.M., Secretary ; Bro. J. H. Finney Organist; Bro. Bquireo J.D, ; Bro. W. L. Kerr 1.G. : and Bro. T. Scott, ' P.M., Tyler. Bros, S. F. Bolton aud J. Gay, who take tho respeotive offices of Senior Warden and Junior Deacon, were absent through illness. After the cere» moiiy the brethren partook of an excellent supper, unci tho rest of tbo evening was spent in harmony.
