In the match between New South Wales and Victoria in. their first innings the Victorians were aU out for 99, (fraham being the top scorer with 34. Howell took five wickets for 37. M-Kibbin 6 for 47. Victoria had to follow on, and requiring 213 to save an inning's defeat, his lost 27, Harry 18, Brnoe 13, and M'Leod (not out) 75, were the chief scorers.
