An exploration party has dis. overt J a splendid route to connect Hobart with the junction of the Gordon and Denwion rivers. The route traverses a good deal of open oountry aud avoids the high altitudes. Another survey party ib still out and hopeß to lind a pructioable route from the Bomhern side to Gordon and Btrahau, opening up valuable couhtry.
