[United Press Association.) London, December 9. lhe Agents-General have no information about the Imperial Government arranging for an early conference relative to the colonial defence question. The "Daily Nows" has published a report of an iuterview with Sir Henry JWrnau (, Agent-General for Queensland), who says that Queensland is likely to object to the frequent and extended absence of warships trom that colony. Mr Playford (S.A.) states that tbe colonies will want a voico in the rnanninsr of vessels. Mr W. P. Reeves (N.Z.j thinks that any proposal to abolish the looal character of the Australian squadron demands careful consideration.
