Tho Union Co.'s steamer Hawcawa, » launched to-day at Dumbarton, Tho patent rights of Bovril, which were lately bought i.y one of tile Dunlop tyre millionaire* for £2,000,000, are being floated into a company with a capital ot £2,500,000, the whole of which is to be issued to the public.

The Tress insists that the German Government should not allow the B.itish expedition to proceed up tho Niger river, as il would piejudice national interests.
