Premier and Mrs Seddon and Mr Carroll were present, and Mr Ward was also in attendance. 'Tho usual political speeches were delivered. The Demonstration HandicapTof four distances, was won by W. Jackson with 8 points. F. B. Muir won the Demonstration Bicycle Handicap of one and three miles. The other events were of local interest only.
