Arrest of Leslie Abcliby, A Pretended Attempt at Suicide, [United Press Association, ] Duneoin, September 7. Leslie Aachby, an unregistered medioal practitioner, who bad attended two patients on whom inquests wero recently held, was arrested to-day as the Mararoa was leaving the wbarf, charged with malpractice.* Later. After the arrest of Leslie Aschby, he exhibited a small phial, and pretended that he hud taken poison. He was examined hy medical men who pronounced that there was nothing wrong with him. It is believed the police bave evidence tbat befcrc coming to this colony, Aschby bad been in Adelaide, where, as Marin us Erishbourgh, he got into trouble for attempting to pass as • a doctor. ,
