The Reforms in Crete.
Union ivith Greece Demanded, [United Press Association.] Londox, September 7, The Cretan Revolutionary Assembly has thanked the European Powers for their intervention in socuirng the reforms and concessions demanded from the Porte, and at the same time it has expressed the opinion that only through union with Greece can a permanent settlement of Cret3n grievances be arrived at.
The Governor of Crete is raising a loan of £100,000 to enable the peasantry to re* occupy their holdings.
