On the House meeting Mr Seddon announced that Mr Ward had resigned his S>rtfolio, and also as a member of the xecutive Council, and that his resignation had been accepted by the Governor. The Premier said he regretted the circumstances which had led' to his colleague's retirement and said that the latter must make his own statement later on.
