Underwriters and Fire Brigades.
A Contribution Declined.
[United Press Association.] Wellington, February 28. The Fire Underwriters' Association of Wellington has written to tbe City Council that uuder its constitution it is unable to accede to the request that it should contribute a sum not exceeding ±500 per year to the support of the lire brigades.
