Auckland, September 23. Edward C. Rawsou, an ex-employee of the Tramway Company, who attempted recently to stop sprne horses bolting with a bus, died oi his injuries at the Hospital. At the inquest on the body of Ereti Whaka Kouranaki, who. fell off his horse and broke his neck while "riding to a tangi at Te Kuiti, a verdict of accidental death \i as returned. Mahnki stood in front ol the hut where the body lay, and declared that no European should view the body, but in spice of the objection the coroner, th& jury, and Dr Bewa vie.ved the body and held an inquest.
