The Premier, speaking at Burwood, said that if the Legislative Council was willing, he was prepared to submit the question of the power of the two Chambers to the Privy Council. With refeience to the rumours that the Government was not unlikely to temporise or abandon the land and income tax exemptions, he said that he intended to stick to them.
