isir Ueorge Grey's resignation by letter lias just boen received by the Speaker. It is witnessed by the Agent-General and reads as follows •— 7 Park Place, St James's, London, 28th Oune, 1893. Silt.— Being incap*u*ittted by illness from fulfilling ni y duties as one of the members of the New Zealand House of Representatives I hereby resign my seat as one of the members for the dity of Auckland. Ihe wilting is obviously that of a man who is old and feeble, and very unlike that which used to be written by Sir t.eorge only a year or two before he left New __ea|ahd.
