[United Press Association.] Wellington, This Day. The Wellington Knights of Labour have passed a series of resolutions ou political subject's. Amons-st other things tbey urge the Government to extend the muuicipal franchise to give easier opportunities of settling on land, to work mining leases where the conditions are not complied with by co-operative labour, to increase the poll tax on Chinese to £100, to abolish the duties on the necessaries of life, recouping the amount by abolishing the exemption under the land tax, to establish a State bank, to support the Referendum Bill and State lire insurance, to appoint Counsel for defence as well as prosecution, to give equal rights to both sexes in marriage and divorce also. They also call on members to support an elective executive, Party Government being a failure. I
