[United Press Association.] Auckland, June 27.

Some citizens are moving to present an address to Mr Ward on his arrival. The addiesa will be drafted by Mr W. J. Napier, and be beautifully engrossed on vellum. It will refer to his having refuted the oalumn--108 on the oolony, restored Ha financial position, and successfully raised a loan of a million and a-half for tbe relief of farmers, thus meriting tbe gratitude of the Agricultural classes of the colony. The addreßS doses with tbanks to him for his loyalty and devotion to New Zealand.
