West Australian Goldfields.
[United Press Association.] Perth, This Day. Hundreds of men scoured in the vicinity of the alluvial find without finding any trace. The road is lined with teams bringing back men who have been hunting for it. Rich gold has been fouud in the Pilbara district. Stone was obtained at a depth of eight feet, and gold penetrates the reef from the hanging wall to the foot. It was also found in large quantities in the casing of the reef.'
